We each have our own takes on tattooes and piercings, with some stronger than others. I personally have a penchant for what I feel become personal accents or trophy scars one chooses, so to speak. This past weekend I have gotten one of each, however, both are quite minor. I decided to add another stud in my right cartilege to begin to balance out having the project bar opposite it on my left ear. The tattoo? A simple drawing of the Avenged Sevenfold deathbat symbol on my inner lip. I felt that this could give me a taste of how it feels to get inked, and is nowhere ostensible enough where the design could become a regret for me. I plan on continuing to "modify" but am trying to think it out somewhat beforehand.
I am curious to the opinions of my peers on the matter of body tattooing and piercing. Both are pretty mainstream but there is still the stigma of visible tattooes or piercings when applying for a serious job or making a bride appear less glamourous on her wedding day. I personally think to a point this should become more lapse with time, and would like to hear imput of any sort.
P.S. Piercing Pagoda is going out of business so everything is cheap .. DIRT cheap.
&& Bulleye Tattoo is amazing.<3

I kind of want a tattoo. If I was to get one, it would be a universal symbol like a heart, or my zodiac symbol (Taurus), like something I would not get sick of that means a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my father has a Vendetta against tattoos and if I get one, I am out of his will. Both my brother and my sister have gotten tattoos and he knows about it, so I guess I'll just wait haha. People told me to use all the money I'll get from the will to go out and get my tattoo, but I think that would just be cruel and ironic.
